• Slarti - The Subtitle Editor

  This program was created to help making or modifying video subtitles. A subtitle file is contains the timing information of each text line which the video player can display while plays the movie. While the subtitle file is a simple text file, editing it manually can be very complicated.
  This is where Slarti comes and help you.

  

  Slarti has the following features:

  The program is or will be freely downloadable as the various platform releases are unlocked. Even the source code could be released along my plan. See details to learn how!

• Donation driven releases

  It was a great time to create this software, but for a full release it needs a lot of boring stuff. Writing documentation, make it user proof, making this page, etc.

  So I have decided that the user may take on some boring tasks too. Especially donate some bucks for it. But to make it more fun, a donation will not only buys a copy of the program, but rolling forward the free release counter. When this counter reaches a specific point, then Slarti will be released for a platform for free.

  The MorphOS version leads the release list with as low sill as one single donation because of the generous efforts of the "Support our developers" campaign where I was included on the list for the release of SQLMan.

• Donations

  The volume of the donation is not set, you can consider that freely.

  If you send any amount of donation you will get an email with the download link of your chosen platform and the release target counter will be added by one point.

  If the counter hit one of the goals then a release of the program will happen as a free download as described below.
